Hello Readers,
Today isn’t just the first day of a new year; it’s the
beginning of a fresh chapter—too soon for the book puns? Hold on to your
bookmarks because I’ve got more literary analogies and puns coming your way.
You’ve been warned. This day marks the start of a brand-new book—or chapter, if
that’s more your style.
I am genuinely excited to fill this year with
unforgettable moments. If my allergies behave themselves, I have so many wonderful
things planned that I can’t wait to share with you. But if I do have a reaction
or two, it’s not going to be the end of the world. Sometimes life’s unexpected
twists are what make it memorable.
I want to take a moment to wish you a year filled with
happiness and incredible books. Just like my Christmas Day post, there’s no
toxic positivity here. Today is about embracing the new year without the
pressure of over-promising with resolutions.
I hope you can take a moment to appreciate how far you’ve
come. No matter how hard last year felt, you made it to this point. That alone
is worth celebrating. And yes, while this year kicks off with a little irony as
the days spell out "WTF" (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday), let’s not
overthink it. Instead, let’s laugh and look forward to the all the new books publishing
this year.
Sidenote I think this post used up all my book puns and analogies
for the year.
Happy new year!!
