Hello Readers,
While searching for Christmas reads this year, I came across the "Under the Mistletoe Collection." This Amazon Original collection features five festive novellas by Ali Hazelwood, Tessa Bailey, Olivia Dade, Alexandria Bellefleur, and Alexis Daria.
Each novella is available on Kindle Unlimited, and if you
have an Audible account, you can also access the audiobook version while the
book is borrowed through Kindle Unlimited. Today I am sharing my review of the fourth
book in the "Under the Mistletoe Collection." I will not be
discussing the spice levels as that’s all down to personal preference.

Synopsis: This Christmas, a hot fireman makes a holiday rescue, and sparks fly in this funny, sexy holiday short story by bestselling author Alexandria Bellefleur.
When Everleigh Dangerfield’s baking disaster necessitates a call to 911,
firefighter Griffin Brantley douses the flames in the kitchen, but the ones he
stokes in Everleigh are an entirely different story. Unfortunately, Everleigh’s
only visiting and doesn’t do casual hook-ups, no matter how smouldering the
temptation. But Everleigh’s holiday mishaps have just begun. And Griffin is
seemingly always on call. If Everleigh is game for a change of plans, he can
give her the merriest Christmas of her life.
Merriment and Mayhem strikes the perfect balance between cute
and spicy. This novella exudes festive charm, with Christmas vibes seamlessly
woven into the story. It was absolutely adorable, and even though it leaned
into insta-love trope, it just worked for me.
This story is everything: funny, heartwarming, and
utterly delightful. Our protagonist, Everleigh, is in town to settle the
affairs of a recently lost loved one. Along the way, she finds herself in a
series of sticky situations that Griffin, the swoon-worthy hero, steps in to
save her from.
While I wished it was longer, the novella’s shortness added
to its appeal by keeping the pace snappy and addictive. This chaotic Christmas
romance delivered all the elements I love in a good romance book. Merriment and
Mayhem is my first read by Alexandria, but it certainly won’t be my last!
They’re just adorable little Christmas stories. Tomorrow,
I'll be sharing my review of the final book in the Under the Mistletoe series Only
Santas in the Building by Alexis Daria.
