Hello Readers,
It’s that time again join me in saying goodbye to 2024.
As the year comes to a close, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the whirlwind
of the past twelve months. It’s been a year full of everything life has to offer
as the past year has been full of ups, downs, and everything in between.
This year, I faced some unexpected struggles with my allergy disorder that
brought unexpected challenges at the beginning of the year. But despite those
hurdles, I think this is the year I have found peace with this new allergy
life. I know it only took 4 years! This year I think I have learned how to find
a balance between managing my allergies and still living my life to the
fullest.
One of the unexpected highlights of this year has been
rekindling my passion for writing book reviews and blogging. For the past two
years, managing both my allergies and keeping READs up to date was a challenge.
It’s been fantastic to rediscover the joy in sharing my thoughts through reviews.
I realised at the beginning of the year that I had just
been coasting by on Instagram. But this year, I fell back in love with it. I actually
enjoy creating content now, even if I might rely a little too much on Canva! I
especially love making book-related backgrounds and exploring new ways to
showcase my book recommendations. It’s become a fun and creative outlet for me.
I also found that doing Sunday snapshots helped me appreciate the little joys
from the previous week.
I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone I’ve
had the pleasure of working with this year whether it was collaborating on
participating on book tours, helping with cover reveals or simply liking a
post. It means so much to me. I’ve been extremely fortunate to read so many
incredible books this year, but I’ve also had the pleasure of discovering new
authors and immersing myself in some amazing book worlds.
Looking ahead to 2025, I already have some exciting plans
in the works. I can’t wait to share them with you. Here’s to new beginnings
and to continuing more adventures in the world of books.
