Hello Readers,
I am ashamed to say that this book has been sat on TBR for the past year. Spice warning, I will not be discussing the spice levels as that’s all down to personal preference.

I thought Jenna’s writing was engaging, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments as Frederick learns to navigate the modern world. It’s easy to imagine this book being turned into a movie or miniseries.
Cassie is a struggling artist, who unknowingly moves into an apartment with a centuries-old vampire, Frederick J. Fitzwilliam. Frederick needs a crash course into how to live in the modern world. The story is quirky and sets the stage for a slow-burn romance brimming with humour and heart.
I absolutely adored the chemistry between Cassie and Frederick it’s sweet, genuine, and full of authentic warmth, even amid the fantastical premise. Their sharp, witty one-liners are pure comedy gold, adding a delightful sparkle to their growing connection and making their banter as memorable as their romance.
I love the attention to detail in this book as Cassie and Frederick start by communication through letters and at the start of each chapter there is a little opening note. I also love that all the emails and letters they shared without were shown in the kindle edition.
