Happy Halloween Readers.
There are three huge vampire films heading our way, two have release dates but I might be a little prematurely excited for the third. I will admit I am a bit of a wimp when it comes to vampire books but that flips on its head when it comes to vampire films, the scarier the better. I love the deeper psychological themes that vampire films can cover compared to books as with books each person gets their own interpretation whereas a film says here it is deal with it.
Salems Lot has been remade and I haven’t had a chance to see it yet but I love to orginal movie and think it was due an update. If the remake is in the same vein as the IT remake I am going to be one happy bunny although I think the children in Salems Lot scare me more than IT. I mean they look like the black eyed children and that is a story that freaks me out.
The Nosferatu remake is being released January 3rd 2025 and I am so excited. Although I think I am in for a rude awakening as I think the orginal Nosferatu is cute and harmless I doubt that will be the case with the remake as Bill Skarsgård is playing the count.
I might be a little bit early on this one but according to Screen Rant 30 Days of Night is finally gets a movie sequel. Were not going to talk about the tv series cause I have such a love hate relationship with it. The sequel is titles 30 Days of Night, Falling Sun and I cant wait to see how it turns out. Rumour 2025.
