Unforgettable Book Endings Part Two

 Hello Readers,

Today I am doing a post talking about book endings that live rent free in my head. Part one is here. I thought I should probably explain why each ending lives rent-free in my head. Now if the title wasn’t enough of a warning spoiler.

Sister Monster Maiden by Lucy A. Snyder (Gifted)

I read this book last year and I loved this little messed up little horror book. I was lucky to gift a copy from Titan. I couldn’t stop recommending this book on the lead up to spooky season and I will be recommending it again this year as I think its great little horror book. Just pick up this book and read page 80-81.  Review

Girls of Little Hope by Sam Beckbessinger and Dale Halvorsen (Gifted)

I am going to try do this without any spoilers as the shock twist at the end is just perfect. This is one book I wish I could take a pill and forget so I can experience the shock twist at the end again. The first part of this books gives you a false sense of security it’s a great mix between a thriller and coming of age drama. Then it morphs into something far more menacing as the horror aspect takes over and story becomes gore-spattered with graphic descriptions of violence and death. I didn’t see the sharp turn down a winding road and I was a little surprised, but the turn fits the story. Review

Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune

Every now and then the door from Under the Whispering Door pops into my head. At the risk of being slightly morbid but the fact Wallace never really lived until he died also lives rent free in my head. It’s quite a sad realisation in the grand scheme of things not just in the world of TJ’s book. Review

They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera

Okay this one might slightly be user error… It's me, hi, I'm the problem, it's me. The title is a huge give away for the ending of the book and was huge giant warning. That being said Adam lulled me into a false sense of security. The thinking of “I’ve only got the last 50 pages left how bad can it be”. Dear Reader, them 50 pages hit me right in the feels like full on Kim K crying. I didn’t think there could be that much hurt hidden in 50 pages and here Adam just proved me wrong. Review

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold

You know when you read a book when you were a teen and think of it can’t be as bad as I remember. The Lovely Bones was it. I remember reading this book as a teen and been a little shook however reading this book as an adult I was in tears.
