Sage The Barista Express Impress Review

 Hello Reader,

I have been puppy sitting for a friend and despite not being the biggest fan I am obsessed with her Sage coffee machine. Have I made some fancy hot chocolates the past week... of course I have. Despite being the biggest fan of coffee I love the smell and the craft that goes into making coffee.

I don’t want to say this machine is fool proof, but it is pretty easy to use, and sage are beyond helpful. During my second week puppy sitting I asked my friend how easy it was to set up the machine and they was like I can show you and scanned the QR code on the box.

Once you scan the QR code it takes you to the sage website and it shows you how to set up your machine and how to craft the coffee you love at home. The online videos are not helpful only with setting up your machine and learning to utilise the machine to its full capacity.

I will admit I have become slightly obsessed with attempting latte art and I have improved since my visit to 200 degrees coffee. I can't personally comment on how the coffee the tastes but my friend has said “Having the built in Grinder makes a difference in the freshness and taste of the coffee.” and “How grinding the beans just before brewing make the coffee taste better”. I will take her word for it dear Reader.

I can comment on how easy the milk frothing wand is to use, and I think it’s fantastic. I know for my own personal use it would be easier to get a milk frother but I have enjoyed using the milk steamer to warm up my coconut milk. It took a couple of attempts to get it right, but I got there in the end.

The important bit dear Reader and one of the main reasons I don’t use my pod machine as much anymore cleaning this machine is surprisingly easy. The fact the water tank and drip tray are removable make cleaning and maintenance a breeze they are both easier to clean than my pod machine too.
