Miniature Review

Readers I had to read this book twice and that’s not a bad thing. When this book arrived back in February, I couldn’t wait to read it because the email from Isabelle had me completely hooked. I got that hooked into the book I forgot I needed to take notes, you know so I could actually review the book. So here I am typing this review up two weeks later after reading the book for a second time during Greek Myth March and this book is living rent free in my head.

It’s not really a spoiler as its in the synopsis but the Mormon community is the focus of this book. Our book focus on Chad and Amber, Chad is devout in his beliefs and so was Amber until she has a little epiphany. Slight spoiler but if you make it through the book without wanting to punch Chad in the face you are a better person than me. Let’s be honest you know it’s a good book when you love to hate the main characters or threaten them with violence.

I didn’t see the twist coming in this book I really thought it was going to go one way then Isabelle came in like “nope hold my drink and watch this”. I will be honest I didn’t see it coming, but it was just perfect and well executed. During both reads the twist kept me hooked and I read it in one go both times.

You need to read this book so I can talk spoilers with people, and I can’t wait to see what Isabelle creates next.
