Hello Readers,
Is 2022 the year of the book nerd I think it is and I’m going to tell you why. I know in January I wrote a post pointing out my favourite book to screen adaptations that are coming this year, but a couple slipped my radar and some I am just too excited for. Also, just a to share my excitement about the casting for the new Percy Jackson series. I am using poster images I have found through google I do not own any rights and am using the image purely for future review purposes (Fair use under the copyright act sections 29 and 30 under use for a review).
My little black gothic heart can’t take it, vampires are back and not only are they bad ass the don’t freaking sparkle we are getting The Interview with the Vampire tv series reboot on AMC, but we are also getting a Vampire Academy tv series reboot on Peacock. Honestly, I can’t wait I am so excited also slight throwaway to the day I’m writing this Hocus Pocus two officially wrapped filming today so ahhh.
Am I just not paying attention because I seem to be the only person who didn’t realise that The Time Travelers Wife was getting a reboot with Theo James, I loved the film and can't wait to see the reboot series on Sky. Like come on allergy brain and brain fog that’s not playing very nice that was important information.
Heartstoppers is ready to stream on Netflix and it’s amazing to see the series get such a warm welcome it was heart-warming. Also, I can’t miss Bridgeton Season Two streaming on Netflix I was way too invested in the Lady Whistledown storyline and can’t wait to see season three where we get to see Collins and Penelope story unfold, I am sorry to say I haven’t read the books. Talking of Bridgeton RegĂ©-Jean Page is in The Gray Man which is set to stream on Netflix later this year.
For all my fellow horror lovers and Stephen King fans Salem's lot is also getting a reboot this year this time as a film, I might be wrong I will put my hands up and apologies is advance. While we’re talking about Stephen King the Pennywise prequel “Welcome to Derry” has finally been announced after years of rumours and I’m a little excited.
While we’re on the subject of confirmed rumours this one might just be a rumour, but I really hope it’s not…. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is being adapted and I cannot wait to see how they adapt the book into a film.
One last shout out to The Lord of The Rings: The Ring of
Power anyone else wishing the year away so they can finally see how amazing
this is going to look. Maybe it’s the nostalgia but every single bit of
promotion for this series has been amazing and done its job perfectly. I need
to know more than just a little a clip or just an amazing photo give me more
